Trip to see Long Island Ducks Baseball Game 2017
On Saturday, July 15, 2017, the Post will be going to a Long Island Ducks baseball game, there will be fireworks after the game. The cost of each ticket is $12.00 per person. The game starts at 6:30 pm. We will be meeting at the American Legion, Merrick Post 1282, at 3:00 pm for a complimentary lunch after which time we will car pool to the stadium. There is a limit of 30 tickets, so it is first come, first serve. This event is open to EVERYONE, NOT just Post members. So bring your kids and grand-kids. Make all checks out to the American Legion Merrick Post 1282 and send them to the Post with attention to: John Weber. If you have any questions contact John Weber at 516-223-5982. Jones Beach Fundraiser 2017 for the Post
On Saturday, May 28, 2017, and Sunday, May 29, 2017, from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, Post members will be giving out American Flags to the public at Jones Beach for a donation in order to help veterans, increase patriotism, raise funds for our Post and recruit membership for our Post. Post members are urged to participate in this event. We need your support. Thank you.

Gas Station Fundraiser 2017 for the Post
For the month of May 2017, Post members will gather at the BP service station on Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, except Sunday, May 14, 2017, which is Mother's Day, to give out American Flags and Post Pens to the customers of this service station for a donation to help veterans. Post members are urged to help out and participate by giving out the flags and pens for this worthy cause.
