In Memoriam - John L. Naddeo

On November 17, 2014, John L. Naddeo passed away and reported to Post Everlasting.  John L. Naddeo was a Post Member who had a kind soul, he loved making wine and watching the reruns of Lawrence Welk Show on T.V.  On one occasion I asked him what was the best time of his life, he said during the 1930's because people had nothing and they were much more kind to each other.  He was a good man and I am glad to have known him.  He will be sorely missed. John L. Naddeo, age 94, of 1627 East Drive, North Merrick died Monday, November 17, 2014 at South Nassau Communities Hospital

A World War II Army Veteran. He was retired Assistant Supervisor for the Department of Sanitation for the City of New York.

Beloved husband of Grace. Devoted father of Angela Dubinsky ( Daniel) and Lawrence J. Naddeo (Belle) Loving grandfather of Michaela, John, Lorenzo and Isabella Naddeo and Gabriel and Julia Dubinsky.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday 9:30AM at St Mary of the Isle RC Church 315 East Walnut Street Long Beach. Interment St. John's Cemetery Middle Village NY  11561

Calling hours will be Thursday, November 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Friday, November 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at N. F. Walker, Funeral Home, 2039 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY 11566.
