On behalf of Recreation Therapy Service, Veterans and staff at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Northport, New York, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the luncheon at your post on Saturday, August 27, 2016.

The Veterans truly appreciated your members' kindness and courtesy throughout the event. The members of Post 1282 escorted the Northport Veterans and assisted them to find a place at the tables. Throughout the afternoon your members took a sincere interest and spent much time interacting with our group of disabled Veterans. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The musician added a delightful touch. The generous gift bags were especially appreciated by everyone. A fun time was had by all.

Your commitment and dedication to the Recreation Therapy Service and the well being of all our Veterans is greatly appreciated.
