On Saturday, November 1, 2014 The Calhoun High School in Merrick football team at 1:30 p.m. is having a day to honor our local veterans. The team will be wearing special jerseys that day, any veteran who comes down to this event will receive a tee shirt. The veterans name will be announced at halftime. John Pinto, the organizer for this event, would like us to poll our membership to see who would like to come down to this event so they can order tee shirts for the day. Thank you.
